  1. Work on simplying the visuals on the intro board a bit more. Your message should "boom" pop to the viwer with your keywords and "Race Around the World"

On the sketches, I wouldn't repeat too many of the same sketches. It's the variation you want to present, not repetition. The biggest sketch on 4th page is a very nice one. I would give it a value treatment. Tom, do you use Illustrator or InDesign? Using those programs might be better for you if you are doing page layouts

  2. Hi David, I changed the boards a little bit. No, I don't use Illusrator or InDesign. I'm pretty used to using photoshop for layouts, do you think I should take the time to learn those programs?

  3. Yeah, learning how to use layout designing programs will help you to work quicker with better result. Nice update on the pages. Some definitely work better than others. I will point out specifics during our live session. At this point, i recommend that you render your favorite sketches or do highlight detailing (like the one you did for plan view battery packaging). Rendering a dead front/rear view would be a good addition too. When rendering, be sure to render the oringinal, not the smaller sketch in the layout. Good luck!

  4. Thanks David. Yeah doing these layouts is quite time-consuming as I have found out, I'll give those layout designing programs a try once I'm done with this project. By rendering the original, is it just an issue of the difference in line quality and compression compared to the smaller sketches?

Thanks for the comments as always.
